Frequently asked questions
Is this a job at Laundromat?
No. You work independently and in your own name. We offer you a better price for washing.
Do I need to register a business?
Declaring your income under local law is your responsibility. We explain more on the intro call.
Who is responsible if a garment is damaged?
Laundromat Terms and Conditions apply to every wash. You agree terms with your own customers, and we can give you a simple agreement template.
How is my discount set?
By the number of washes and dries paid with your card each month. We review your level once a month.
How soon can I start?
Usually within a few days of signing up, as soon as we have spoken and you have your card.
Practical tips
Start in your own building
Offer the people you already know first, through a house chat, the notice board or a word at the door.
One bag per household
Use a separate, labelled bag for each customer so laundry never gets mixed.
Agree on the basics up front
Settle the price, pickup day and return time before you take the first bag.
Combine loads by time, not by customer
Plan collections so you can run several machines in one visit.
Ask happy customers to recommend you
Most of your growth will come from recommendations.
